Stadium Map

Stadium Entrance

You will enter the stadium using the Emergency Exit door at the Broadway Gate (main gate) next to the Professional Scouts Wall of Fame.

Stadium Check In

Check-in with PSC at the utility cart located right inside the entrance gate.  You will sign on two sheets and a meal voucher.

You must check in with PSC for us to get a donation.

Getting to your stand

Concessions are accessed from the main concourse,  using the posted section numbers, observing the stand names as you go. If you are unsure if you are in the correct location, please ask to speak to the stand manager and verify you are in the correct location.

Stand Check In

Sign-In:  When you arrive at the stand, you should find the stand manager and sign in on three sheets.

1 The Achieving Dreams sign-in sheet.

2. The Levy Sign In/Sign Out Sheet

3, Alcohol Acknowledgement

If you are new, you should be assigned a buddy to help you. If you do not receive a buddy assignment, please ask one of the managers. It is their responsibility to assign buddies, but sometimes they don’t know you are new or may be busy at the time you signed in.

Stand Setup

After signing in, you should be given a role and/or setup task. Most jobs are POS attendants, taking customer orders and payment and serving beer. A limited number of backup/runner and kitchen jobs are available. If you are under 18, you are not allowed to serve alcohol, so must be a runner/backup.

You should use the checklists to help you complete the task successfully. If you are new, please ask another volunteer or the stand manager for help.

Breaks

PSC would like breaks to be taken before gates open. You may sit in the area next to the stand before guests arrive. If there is a picnic event, we may not sit in that area.

Stand Operation

After the stand meeting, we will finish any remaining setup tasks, make sure the stand is clean and organized and begin serving food for volunteers. ‘

Clean Up And Dismissal

At the end of the event, everyone must help clean. All checklists must be turned
into the stand manager. Once verified, you will sign out by writing your shift end time on the Achieving Dreams sign-in sheet

Slip-Resistant Shoes for Restaurant/Food Service

Volunteer Footwear Requirements & Buying Guide

Venue Requirements

To ensure safety and consistency, all volunteers must wear slip-resistant, all-black, closed-toe, and closed-heel shoes. This footwear requirement is accepted at all venues where we volunteer.

"Slip-Resistant" vs. Everyday Shoes

"Non-slip" and "slip-resistant" are generic marketing terms that any manufacturer can print on a box. A running shoe or everyday sneaker might provide traction on a wet sidewalk, but it is not designed for the specific hazards of food service environments—such as greasy floors, spilled soda, beer, and hours of standing.

Recognizing Acceptable Tread

Acceptable food service shoes feature specialized treads for liquid channeling. The sole of your shoes should look similar to the examples shown below:

What to Look For: Testing & Certifications

Before purchasing, check the product description, hangtag, or box for an official slip-resistance rating. If a shoe does not explicitly list one of these standards, assume it is not certified, regardless of how the sole looks:

  • ASTM Standards (US): Look for labels referencing ASTM F2913 (the lab test method) or ASTM F3445 (the slip-resistant safety standard).
  • ISO Standards (International): Look for ISO 20345 / 20347 ratings designated with SRA, SRB, SRC, or SR.

Investment & Purchasing Advice

  • Budget Options: Certified slip-resistant shoes can be purchased starting around $30 at retailers like Walmart.
  • High-End Options: If you plan to volunteer frequently, we recommend investing in a higher-end brand built to withstand long hours of standing and harsh kitchen environments.
