This is apparel sales, not a concessions event and no alcohol sales, but you must have had Delaware North training.
Jobs include greeting, register sales, customer service, and merchandizing.
State Fair Admission Ticket, Uniform shirt and bottled water will be provided to all who sign up.
16- and 17-year-olds are permitted to volunteer with parent, 1:1, adult:teen.
Delaware North Supervisors will direct set-up and re-stock, as well as let everyone know when they can start cleaning and consolidating.
Training is provided at the start of your shift.
UNIFORM – volunteers should arrive in white t-shirt, work-style solid black knee-length or longer pants/shorts, and solid
color athletic shoes and socks, NO SANDALS, SLIP ONS or bare feet!
Report time is the time in the tent, not just parking at the fair.
Please plan to arrive early, as traffic and parking are always a problem at the State Fair.
You will recieve a Staff T-shirt to wear during your shift and in past years you have been allowed to keep it at the end of the shift.
There are no meal provisions, but you will recieve one 20 minute break during your shift. Bottled water is provided for volunteers. Follow normal State Fair policy on what is permitted into the Fair.
Please don’t bring excessive personal items
