Compass offers free game day parking in the ramp next to the Vikings Locker Room Store.
Volunteers are not permitted to park on the top level of the ramp, as this is to be used for ADA/people with disabilities and the people who work at the office building connected.
To enter the ramp, turn onto Vikings Circle and take the third exit from the roundabout.
There is sometimes a ramp attendant, and you have to tell them you are working food and beverage and in the concessions department. Other times, there is just a sign saying employees and vendors only.
The TCO Performance Center uniform consists of the following elements:
• Professional style black pants, in a woven or twill fabric, such as Docker or Dickies brand. Shorts of the same style material may also be worn for comfort in warmer weather. NO Denim/Jeans, gym clothes, shiny fabrics, or stripes or logos are permitted.
• Black slip-resistant shoes are recommended, but any shoe worn must be closed-toe and closed heel.
• TCO uniform t-shirt will be provided but you may have to return it at the end of the event.
• Achieving Dreams hat or visor, which is obtained from the stand manager the first time you volunteer. The hat cost will be deducted from the donation for that event. You must bring your hat each time you volunteer or will have to obtain a new hat, and occur another deduction, if it lost or forgotten.
Notes for cooler weather: You may wear a plain black, long-sleeve t-shirt or crewneck sweatshirt or a lightweight plain black jacket (no hoods on jackets or sweatshirts) under your uniform shirt.
Please review the Training Camp 2023 Concession Map
You enter TCO Performance Center stadium at the main gate. You must first check in at the ticket office with Brian Perry and obtain a wristband.
Security Screening After receiving the wrist band, you will pass through security screening and proceed to your assigned stand.
Check-in for Vikings Training camp events will not be in the ticket office. There is an office building attached to the top of the parking ramp. Check-in will be in an unleased space. There will be a sign in front of the doors and will be checking in people in front of it. The building is the Innovation Center and there is no Suite Number on it.
Once you have entered the stadium, please follow the stadium map above to your assigned location. The burger stand is across the stadium from the entrance and the portable stands are marked on the maps.
When you arrive at your assigned stand, you should find the stand manager and sign in on two sheets:
- The Achieving Dreams sign-in sheet. You must sign your own name to this sheet and indicate your arrival time to the stand (not the check-in line or parking lot).
- TCO Performance Center Sign-in Sheet.
All volunteers must sign every form. If you don’t sign the forms we won’t receive a donation for your work.,
If you do not receive a buddy assignment, please ask one of the managers.
After signing in, you will be given a role and/or setup task. Most jobs are POS attendants, taking customer orders and payment and serving beer. A limited number of backup/runner and kitchen jobs are available.
If you are under 18, you are not allowed to serve alcohol, so must be a runner/backup.
You should use any provided checklists and procedure guides to help you complete the task successfully. If you are new, please ask your buddy for help first, and then a manager.
Near the end of stand setup, about 15-20 minutes before the stadium opens, the stand managers should hold a pre-event stand meeting.
An employee meal and break are provided but must be done before the gates open. There are no vouchers or coupons, your selection will be run on the POS.
Once gates open, we will begin serving guests.
Since items in the stand must all be accounted for in our end-of-event inventory, please make sure to check with a manager before throwing away anything that might be dropped, cracked, or otherwise spoiled. There should be a “spoilage box” in the stand for this purpose.
During the event, if you find you need a restock on items, such as cups or notice items running low, such as pretzels or hot dogs, let your stand manager know. Do your best to keep your area clean and organized. If the front counters need attending, either try to clean them up or ask the stand manager if anyone else is available.
All end of the event, everyone must help clean, even if you have completed cleaning your immediate area. Please use provided checklists to make sure the stand is properly cleaned and ready for the next event. All checklists must be completed and turned into a manager before we can be dismissed.
Once verified, the stand manager will dismiss everyone. Everyone will sign out by writing the shift end time on the Achieving Dreams sign-in sheet.
